Dr. Leanne Whittaker is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for animal care. She lives in Riverhead with her partner, Antony, and their cherished pets—three dogs (Cecelia, Tesi, and Kip), a cat (Tammy), and two horses (Spencer and Betty).
A graduate of the Royal Veterinary College, London, Dr. Leanne has made New Zealand her home. She focuses on soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, offering comprehensive veterinary care tailored to each patient’s well-being. Working closely with specialist referral clinics, she ensures pets receive the best care at every level. From exotics to beloved family companions, she believes every animal deserves quality treatment.
Outside the clinic, Leanne enjoys running with her dogs, horse riding, jogging, white water rafting, and weekend kayaking—always with her canine companions by her side!
