Leanne has dedicated her career to animal health and welfare, bringing many years of experience and a genuine passion for providing exceptional veterinary care. She has extensive knowledge across all aspects of companion animal practice, with a particular interest in canine reproduction and breeding management.

As a registered English Springer Spaniel breeder with Dogs New Zealand (DogsNZ), Leanne has over 30 years of hands-on breeding experience. Her practical knowledge, combined with her veterinary expertise, enables her to provide informed, compassionate guidance to breeders throughout every stage of the breeding journey.

Leanne is also committed to giving back to the local community and works closely with animal welfare organisations and local charities to improve animal welfare and help ensure more pets have access to essential veterinary care.

Outside the clinic, Leanne enjoys spending time with her English Springer Spaniels and remains actively involved in responsible breeding through Dogs New Zealand. She is an active member of the North Shore Dog Training Club, where she serves on the committee and regularly trains and competes in scent work with her dogs. Leanne also enjoys participating in gundog activities, attends her local gun club regularly, and occasionally competes in field trials with her own dogs.
